The history of Jalgos & West Indian Front room Exhibition.
On Thursday 23rd October 2009 Jalgos hosted the West Indian Front Room Exhibition and The History of Jalgos 1962-present as part of Black History month.
Stephen Poleon 3rd year History student at UCLAN hosted the evening that included guest speakers Mr Afflick one of the founder members and lifetime member Mr Pond on what Jalgos means to him.
Adrian Murell's front room exhibition was of significant importance as Jalgos was founded in a front room back in 1962 and people were invited to speak about their own experiences and whet they remembered about their own front rooms.
As well as all of this there was an Exhibition on Jalgos history which included trophies, a cricket blazer kindly donated by Mr Morlees and Michael Dawkins modeling our new Save our Club T-Shirt.
